A single conferencing server can host any number of conferences as long as there are sufficient resources available on the server. All conferences are stored on the server and the conference activity is relayed from the Host computer to the server and to all participants. The image below illustrates this concept.
Conferences can be setup to be either public or private. Both properties are determined when the conference is being setup by the Host.
Public conferences
are available to anyone who connects to the conference server.
Private conferences
require the participant to know the direct URL to the conference.
