Your Assistant Collaboration Module

Using Video Conference

Your Assistant Collaboration Module offers multi-point video conferencing capabilities. This feature requires at least one user to have a USB camera attached to a computer. Mitel recommends using a USB 2.0 compatible camera connected to a USB 2.0 port for best performance. A USB 2.0 camera connected to a USB 1.x port will operate at USB 1.x speed. Please refer to your computer manual for the specifications of the USB ports on your computer.

All users in a conference with a valid webcam will have a filmstrip next to their user icon. The filmstrip represents a workable webcam but the webcam will not transmit any video unless the feature is enabled by the Host.

Note: The webcam must be plugged in before starting or joining a conference. Collab will not recognize a webcam plugged in after joining a conference.

To activate the video

  2.  Select Play Video.
